The Special Fish Group of Noicattaro (Bari) has been active for more than 20 years in the wholesale trade of seafood products, a company that operates on an international scale. The company is placed at the top of the auction markets for live, fresh, frozen, processed and transformed products.

We are a solid company which both works and employs. The company controls fish products from numerous markets around the world, handles more than 250 species of fish and about 80 types of seafood. The core business of the Special Fish Group is the co-production of sea bream, sea bass and seafood.

We use a network of partners thanks to which we can purchase and deliver products within only 48 hours of ‘pulling up’ the nets. We can thus ensure excellent product quality, which is highly appreciated by national and international customers.

Special Fish Group has developed partnerships within a global fishing network, which can count on contacts in Morocco, Senegal, Tunisia, Latin America, East and Central Asia. In Europe our network involves Spain, Holland, England, Denmark, as well as Greece, France and Ireland where the company has co-managed farms with other trusted partners.

OUR HISTORY

In a corner of Apulia, at the beginning of the 1990s, the dream of PeppinoCascarano, founder of this historic family business, came to life.


Passion and tenacity are the ingredients that have always characterised his entrepreneurial vocation, which he has handed down to his children – alegacy that Luigi and Maria Pia Cascarano have been able to absorb and carry forward over the years, making the company grow and establish itself, both nationally and internationally.


Today, Special Fish Group srl is one of the most important groups in the national fish sector, undoubtedly the no. 1 company in Central and Southern Italy, with an annual turnover of over 25 million euros. The company has been able to achieve these results thanks to a competent and enlightened management, supported by particularly qualified collaborators.

Our factory

Today Special Fish Group srl is a logistic partner for companies, logistic players and sector operators who need to store, handle and manage import and export volumes, for partners interested in having a warehouse in Italy for the distribution of fish products. Our new equipped facility can be the perfect base for the distribution of products in Italy.

With a modern and well-equipped facility of more than 600 m² of cold storage and 2000 m² of storage and processing facilities, and thanks to its long experience in the fish sector, Special Fish Group srl is able to represent an extremely important reference point for all large groups, not only in the fish sector.
